Our Instructors

Linda Kaufman our Pastel and Watercolor instructor is an award winning artist whose work has been exhibited in Philadelphia and South Jersey. Taking her inspiration from nature - what happens beneath the sea and in the gardens above the waves. Linda has been teaching here at the VCCAC for 12 years and has developed a following of dedicated students who have flourished under her instruction -  and who love  and enjoy Linda and her fantastical class.

Susan Van Duyne Hunter teaches our pottery classes and is also the Director of VCCAC. A Ventnor native and graduate of the Tyler School of Art, Sue has been making pottery for 30 years. Her work is functional stoneware with themes of nature and the ocean. She shares her studio with her husband Clint and they sell there pottery at Staintons Gallery of Shops in Ocean City and online.

Chuck Law our Oil & Acrylics teacher is a critically acclaimed oil painter with a focus on landscapes and local South Jersey scenes - including but not limited to: marshes; sunsets and the beach. Chuck loves to paint from life,"plein air" (on site, outside) and there's a good chance you've him set up his easel at dog beach  and other local spots.

Patricia Neville- Teaches our Oil and Acrylic classes. A resident of Cape May, she is a retired high school  art teacher who continues to share her skills and love of art to our students. A graduate of York Academy of Art she continues her studies by doing international workshops. Her work reflects her love of nature and the landscape of South Jersey.

Gina Palmer is our children's Dance Instructor with a background in a multitude of dance forms and styles.

Under her guidance, our students learn to love both the craft and classical training of dance. Gina has been with the VCCAC for many years.

Janet Bodoff teaches jewelry making. Janet creates stunning beaded jewelry along - wearable bespoke art pieces of sterling silver and copper. She sells her work at several local art festivals including our Ocean Breeze Craft show and Brigantine Art Walk in the summer.
