Our Instructors

Linda Kaufman is our Pastel and Watercolor instructor. An award winning artist having exhibited in Philadelphia and South Jersey. Her inspiration is nature and what happens under the sea as well as florals. Linda has been teaching here at the VCCAC for 12 years and has a nice following of dedicated students that love her fun class.

Chuck Law is our Oil & Acrylics teacher. A critically acclaimed oil painter whose focus is landscape and local scenes of marshes, sunsets and the beach. Chuck loves to paint from life, plein air (on site, outside) and you may see him set up painting at dog beach or other local spots. He has also taught here at VCCAC for many years and his students love his relaxed, fun way of getting the best from his students. go to chucklaw@artspot.com to see his work

Susan Van Duyne Hunter teaches our pottery classes and is also the director. A Ventnor native and graduate of Tyler School of Art, Sue has been making pottery for 30 years. Her work is functional stoneware with themes of nature and the ocean. She shares her studio with her husband Clint and they sell there work at Staintons Gallery of Shops in Ocean City and online

Janet Bodoff teaches jewelry making. Janet makes beaded jewelry along with wearable art pieces of sterling silver and copper that are beautiful. She sells her work at several local art festivals including our Ocean Breeze Craft show and Brigantine Art Walk in the summer.

Gina Palmer teaches our children's dance classes. Her vast experience in all forms of dance gives our students to love of the craft and classical training. Gina has been with the arts center for many years
